Dub Grub Reimagined

Challenged with redesigning the campus dining mobile app, Dub Grub, I led the UI/UX design and developed our product prototype.

Dub Grub Reimagined solves the inefficiency and economic challenges of food/grocery delivery and pickup services for college students, particularly those living on campus. We improved Dub Grub by providing detailed allergy/ingredient information, introducing grocery pickup, and adding a delivery option with live order tracking for the dining hall. These improvements not only enhance student life but also offer flexible earning opportunities without the commitment of a traditional job.

Identifying The Users & Challenge

Interviews with stakeholders highlighted Dub Grub's challenges, including difficulty accessing allergen information posing user risks and unreliable pickup times leading to dining hall rush hours. Students using mobile ordering seek efficiency, emphasizing the need for accessibility and inclusion in our approach.

Design Solution

Our solution improves the state of the existing Dub Grub application by providing users with a one-stop-shop for campus dining and grocery shopping. The key additional features our solution provides are filtered search, takeout and grocery delivery, and real-time order tracking.

Brainstorm & Sitemap

During the brainstorming phase, we thought about the key features of our app that address our problem space. We identified our different users as students who are ordering the food, students who are delivering the food, and restaurants making the food. We created a site map that shows the overall flow of the app.
